great score! if you dont mind from which issues did the pages range from ( and if i coud inquire a bit more-- what were the price ranges?)

I saw pages from Hellboy in Hell #8 - 10. I think the prices ranged from $1000 - $1600. Mike also had the cover from HiH #2 there. He didn't have some of the best pages available for sale from issues 9 & 10 though. He said they were already sold, he was keeping them for himself, wasn't ready to part with them yet, or had given them away to those who contributed on the book (Dave Stewart, Scott Allie). These two pages I bought from issue #8 had the most Hellboy appearances of any of the pages he brought. By Friday he had put the portfolio away because most of the pages he brought to the show were sold.

At this point I think he's almost run out of pages to sell. He did have a ton of pencil sketches for sale though.

Those covers are all around 4K, if I remember correctly. I've looked through the original art at cons in the past, it's all well out of my range.

I built this Hellboy Kubros tonight. It was offered in the Loot Crate at SDCC, but somehow I missed it so I bought it online. Now I just need the Abe Sapien to go with him!

I was indeed able to make it, and stayed the whole weekend with some new friends in Portland. I really love that city, and they have one of the best comic book stores I've ever seen! And of course there's also Powell's books, which is such a treasure. I wasn't able to purchase any original art from Mike, as I recently had made some big Mignola related purchases... But I did get to chat with him and Christine, and got a few key books signed. One day I will own a Mignola original!

Anyone interested, I noticed two excellent Mignola Box of Evil pages on eBay this evening. (I bid on one but I'm pretty they will end up out of my price range.)
