    Default MCU Spider-man Origin Movie

First, let me say I a totally on board with the no origin movie MCU Spider-man. However I can see a need to differentiate the pure Sony movie Spider-man origin with the new MCU Spider-man. They may want to include some origin stuff into the new Spider-man movie. To that effect I think they should go the Powerpuff Girls route.

That is a quick little montage at the beginning of the movie explaining Spider-man's origin and motivation. Something along the lines of "Bitten by a radioactive spider, high school student Peter Parker gained the speed, strength and powers of a spider. Adopting the name Spider-Man, Peter hoped to start a career using his new abilities. Taught that with great power comes great responsibility, Spidey has vowed to use his powers to help people." Read by Stan Lee of course.

Takes about a minute and the origin is done with during the credits and the very first scene could be Spider-man fighting Rhino or Shocker. No villain origin either. They didn't origin Nolan's Joker in Batman and that worked out fine. They could definitely do the same with second tier criminal.

I dont even think they need a quick montage at the beginning of the movie. I think a few flashbacks in his solo film (Uncle Ben dying, getting bit by spider) is all thats really needed.

If the film really will be called 'The Spectacular Spider-Man' they should use the theme from the cartoon of the same name and then have the origin/early stage heroing montage set to it in an opening credits sequence.

Just have him tell Mary Jane his origin like in the Ultimate Spider-Man comics. (Or like he did in that one Spider-Man comic which reprinted Amazing Fantasy #15. I forget the issue right now.)

Every Marvel movie already has an animated credits sequence. Usually it's at the end of the movie. Put it at the beginning, recap the the origin, and include anything from the previous movies they want to keep as part of Peter's pre-existing history. Done. Then just get on with the awesome.

A little like the original batman movie then?

Flashbacks to me tend to take up too much space in a movie. Literally, I think a quick voice over of about three line at the beginning of the movie is all that is needed to set up Spider-man's origin. No flashbacks, no taking any story time away from the main plot to figure out Peter's past. Just "this is spider-man, he was bit by a radioactive/genetically modified spider and gained the proportionate powers of a spider. After his uncle was killed because he chose not to act, he is now the hero known as Spider-man."
