Merry Christmas, fellow Dr. Strange fans!
Speaking of Cumber-Strange, do we think that Marvel will let Benedict keep his awesome natural British accent (pretty please) or have him try to do an American one?
Happy Holidays to all.
I do want authentic Strange, who would not have a British accent, but I must admit Benedict's voice with his English accent is gorgeous. So I am torn, and would be okay either way. We know where Strange grew up, but I am unsure of where he worked once he was a successful surgeon. Perhaps there is one of the more posh American accents he could emulate.
I bet there is some graphic designer at Marvel who wishes they had designed that Strange poster, because it is imaginative and kind of elegant. I personally do not recall anything similar.
There will be a new Doctor Strange collection in August, collecting issues #75-81, called Don't Pay the Ferryman. Is anyone familiar with this storyline?
That's the Topaz arc, I think. Peter Gillis' first story. But I'm not sure it works without the followup storyline with Kaluu (in Strange Tales v2).

The first 17 issues of that series were collected. I'm not sure why #18 and #19 were left out, as both issues had Doctor Strange stories.
With a movie in the offing, you start reading into things, but it does seem odd to print this, when it has more recently been put out in book form, instead of something new, like vol 7 of his collections.
Awesome sketch by Adi Granov.

Not only is that picture great, it is also great that the person who won the auction chose Dr. Strange as their character of choice for the pen and ink drawing.
For 2015, I want a Dr. Strange ongoing!
