    Great News!!

I was hoping I'd see Godzilla make a comeback and recover from the the crappy 98 version. The G-Man deserves far more.

Overall, this is a good movie worth seeing. As soon as I walked out of that theater I was saying, "A Sequel couldn't come soon enough!"

I hope Green Lantern can pull a similar comeback.

Wow, doubt anyone saw that coming, not to mention Cap still having the biggest 2014 weekend. Haven't seen it yet but as big Godzilla fan growing up I'll have to check it out next weekend.

Kudos! Plus, my two favorite words in this article are: "inevitable sequel."

It was close. Godzilla was projected to have a slightly bigger weekend, but Sunday's receipts must be factored in, too.

As a lifelong fan of Godzilla and giant monsters in general (King Kong '33 was my first favorite movie when I was 3 years old) I couldn't be happier with this news. I hope we'll see some classic Toho monsters in the sequels, but I wouldn't mind more original kaiju, too.

I was afraid going into the film that it'd either be a bomb or hit, glad it's leaning towards the latter.

I just read that a sequel has indeed been greenlit and apparently was already being planned. Can anyone confirm this?

Maybe if Godzilla finds a willpower ring and is welcomed into the corps as the new sector-2814 Green Lantern that will happen?

Parental care is way exhausting. Gained insight into what my parents went through when I was a baby. Not fun, but what ya gonna do? (Read comics, obviously.)

I imagine Godzilla would be more likely to get inducted into the Red Lantern Corps.

It's a strong toss up with the Yellow Lantern Ring and the Red Lantern Ring

Great news. This movie was just a ton of fun! I hope it continues to do well the upcoming weeks.

Seriously people: Godzilla! Captain America! Days of Future Past and Guardians of the Galaxy coming up. A ton of comic book related TV shows also on the way. Is this a great time to be a geek or what?
