Ms Marvel (2014) #13 *Spoilers and Thoughts*

I admit when i read the first part of this issue, I rolled my eyes a little. The whole concept of Kamala's parents introducing a boy from a respectable family sounded like the theme of so many old sitcoms. But once again, Ms. Marvel surprised me in the best possible way. The twist at at the end put the whole concept in a new perspective. It also added a new complication to Kamala's life. I think it worked beautifully, finding out that this boy she thought her parents were trying to hook her up with is also an Inhuman. Plus, she got to take on an enemy aside from the Inventor. There's just so much to love about this series and every issue keeps giving me more reasons.

Yeah, I could see her doing the responsible thing and not throwing away her life for someone who has lived a full life anyway.

Liked Kaboom, Kamran was interesting. So glad a new arc started, can't wait to see how Kamala deals with inhuman extremists!
