Dont worry, I thought about him aswell, but I've been trying to think of someone who also had writemounted (rather than fist) blades... without using the gimp-assassin from Hellboy.

While I am no fan of those blades, I think it's safe to say that they are going to be retractable in some fashion.

.....Which, of course, only heightens the Wolverine comparison, obviously.

They seem redundant though, her preferred weapon should be the lasso. The lasso is unique and she can do lots of awesome things with it

    No argument here.

I like Diana having weapons, but I'm of the opinion that she should only break them out for the big battles where the stakes are high. And these blades annoy me far more than her carrying a sword around, because they call Wolverine to mind, and Wolverine is a character to which Diana should NEVER be compared.

But it's still premature to claim that the blades are always out and will cause Diana all manner of practical difficulties. It's obvious that they won't be out all the time.

I am wonderine what the hell they were thinking.
If ten years of recording The Young and the Restless for my mother have taught me anything, it's that characters in serial dramas are always happily in love...until they're not

Probably that those blades would make her look very slikt.

The spikes are more like Barakapool's than Wolverine's.
