It's time for Marvel to "Efron Up!"

“Neighbors,” an R-Rated Zac Efron/Seth Rogen comedy, beat the crap out of “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” at the box office and the mega franchising gods at Walt Disney heard the other foot drop: “It’s time to Efron up.”

We can exclusively report that Zac Efron is being looked at for unspecified role in an upcoming Marvel Studios project. He was given a script for the project just recently and currently no one knows which part is actually in play

thoughts? happy? excited? optimistic?

Seems like a rumor at this point but I'm all for it if its the right character

If Zac Efron is up for a marvel hero or villain who would you want him to portray? Please keep in mind Disney does not have access to the Fantastic Four and X-men characters, so lets limit this just to the characters Marvel studios has the rights for

He would have been good for Human Torch/Johnny Storm in my opinion. Otherwise I don't know enough Marvel to pick one. It seems he plays the hot, kinda douchey guy a lot these days.

Yeah Paul Rudd .. I believe was cast.. I hear Patrick Wilson was suppose to be cast as the Young Hank Pym.. but I heard no confirmation .. does anyone know??

I'm all for Namor. Any guy that good looking can pull off the arrogant prick type, and seeing him in a green chainmail speedo can't hurt to get ladies into the theaters. Don't know if Namor could carry a movie on his own, but as a major player in a new Fantastic Four movie he could help establish the franchise. From there, who knows?

I think he would make a cool Nova aka Richard Rider.

If Namor is still at Universal I wont entertain or support any of that. Without the support of the MCU this would likely be like another pathetic Fox move where they make some low budget underwater nonsense that goes nowhere to retain the rights at the last minute...so yeah that's a no.

Again, based on the guys demeanor I'd go with a Richard Rider which would do what WB's GL could not.

Truth is I've never seen anything by the guy, but if it's about looks, his cocky smile reminds me of Johnny Storm. By the way. did anyone saw Neighbors?

oh has it? I assumed Antman was Hank Pym? Not really paying attention to that film right now so could be I guess. Weird they'd go with Scott Lang over Pym

Looking at that list I'm like...uh he really doesn't fit anywhere as a hero. For me I think he's better suited as a DC hero but if Marvel had to pick somebody for him to play they should go against type and cast him as Bullseye

They can use him as a returning badguy on all of their Netflix shows and use that to then launch a Thunderbolts movie.

I didn't think marvel could use any of the spider-women. And i don't think he would even consider doing it as a part time gig.
