I don't think its a great costume tbh but that's nothing against the character since a lot of cool characters have alright to meh costumes.
We need better comics

he is quite correct though. The only reason I find it remotely acceptable is due to the character's supposed age and religion.

I don't think this deserves it's own thread, he's entitled to his opinion. I competely disagree it fits the tone of the book and it's different, in fact I'm surprised there aren't more superheroes wearing leggings with a skirt or something.

I personally think its an okay costume, but I think it needs a belt or a sash like the original Ms Marvel, just to break up the blue a bit.

it's cheesy and it's awesome that away.
It's like superman spandex and trunks.
it fits well the character and the tone of the book.

Honestly I don't think it's that attractive a costume either.
Then again, given the characters age and such, I wouldn't want her flying into battle in a thong with matching pirate boots either. So I guess it works well enough.

I agree, not a great costume imho. But in an age where we try to teach children that individuality is the true hallmark of fashion, if that's what Ms. Marvel wants to wear, then let her wear it. There's no one stopping Erik from publishing his own comic book starring his take of a Ms. Marvel-type character.

One of the founders of Image Comics. He's most famous for creating Savage Dragon, a character who's adventures are (mostly) in real time and is a big green Chicago cop:
