I would dance with glee but I could see a contingent claiming that it was ripping off this. I suspect if they were to do that they'd call her "Ultra Woman" rather than "Ultrawoman" to identify the difference between the anime/manga character and the Dc version (FTR, "Ultra Woman" is the Lois and Clark name/version for those that may not know).

Like the idea of "Ultra Woman"
To my recollection there is a comic book character called Ultraman not to be confused withthe anime/manga character from Japan.
Not sure, but, I think he's a Marvel superhero.
Also when I think of UltraWoman I think of the character from Lois & Clark.

Ultraman is also the name of the anti-Superman from Earth 3 (Kal-Ul of the Crime Syndicate).

I think in over 76 years of comic book history, most heroic names have bee used at least once!

    LOL. Possibly.

From It's Superman! by Tom De Haven

She's never been "in love," not with any of the boys back in Menticello, not with Willi Berg and not with Ben Jaeger. At least she hopes not. Because if that was love, a;ll she can say is there are far too many beautiful songs touting such a measly emotion.

Lately she has begun to worry about herself--especially after scoring so poorly on Glamour magazine's "How Romantic Are You?" take-it yourself quiz. Her score 94 point out of a possible 200) put her in the Cold Fish category! What, just because she's never gone rink skating with a man or necked in a gazebo during a summer shower, never dressed "slyph-like" for her "best beau"? Nertz! She's romantic, she is, she cries when the guy and the girl embrace finally and eternally at the end of serious movies, she cries even harder when one of them becomes fatally ill. She is ready to fall in love.
(FTR, the scene above is before Superman's true debut and her first meeting with Clark. Up until this moment they'd been in the same spheres of acquaintanceship despite MILES of distance (Clark first in Smallville then Hollywood while Lois is in New York the whole time).

It's Superman! Is a really wonderful alternate novelisation of Superman's origin story.
Read it for a refreshing twist to the Clois angle.

Well, we all know it's because Lois is awesome so it does make sense. I bet there are others who have yet to come out and confess their devotion/admiration to Lois.
