These non Spider-Man created anti-heroes/mis-understood villains can legitimately fit into Spider-Man's world as most of them are not being used elsewhere. Mix things up to get an interesting story. Especially in connection to Peter's Parents who were their respected enemies during their espionage years. Thus, it would give them a very good reason to work with some of Spider-Man's rogue galleries as well as become a part of it.

What would be cool to see is for The Leader to work alongside Dr. Otto Octavius as his partner, as well as see Mystique work alongside Mysterio....
