I am glad i don't have to make this thread but after watching the flash i was going to ask why hasn't DC made Vibe exactly that guy who is on Flash.

This is highest amount of praise i can give it.Cisco on the show is Peter Parker. DC has its own Peter Parker .I don't know if "Vibe" hero can become bigger the costume and powers can be tweak better. But that show characters is something special and DC should use it.

I agree, sometimes, the tv version is better than the comic book version. TV people tend to have higher salaries and tv shows can attract higher quality talent than the comic books.

It's funny to read this when one of the writers on the New 52 Vibe series that redefined his powers as being interdimensional by nature was written by Andrew Kreisberg. He's the show runner on The Flash.

Maybe the tv people save their best work for tv rather than the comic books.

Except that particular comic wasn't bad work. It did what publishers should be doing more often. Reinvent an inconsequential character with potential that wasn't executed well the first time. Instead of just trying to reinvent the characters that have large and loyal followings all the time.

Dc probably just needs more meta teams that can accept members like Vibe. Vibe is probably not god like enough for the JL. The sliders version of Vibe can be used in the multiversity team. In the 1980s, vibration powers seem popular since Liberty Belle of All Star Squadron had similar powers.

Vibe would have been a good fit for the Outsiders at the time. In fact, pretty much ALL the Justice League Detroit members probably would have been better received had they started out as Outsiders instead of Justice Leaguers right off the bat.

To this day, I wonder what DC was thinking in 1984 when it gutted the Satellite-era Justice League and replaced them with untested newcomers.

    They were thinking...

    Wow that really worked!

What can we do just like it?

    ...fail.

Hardly seemed necessary, as NEW TEEN TITANS did for DC pretty much what X-MEN did for Marvel in the 1980s anyway.

It's not like Marvel spent the 80s converting AVENGERS and FANTASTIC FOUR into more X-MEN clone books.

Haha they found a way to make tv Cisco wear the sunglasses. Nicely done! Reminded me of the way the Nolan Batman films had an explaination for almost every aspect of Batman's costume. Can't believe they found a way to make Vibe's sunglasses important.

It was fun seeing Vibe and the Detroit gang back in the Convergence: Justice League of America book last week.

What did everyone think of the story?

No, they did that in the 90s.

I was very curious why they kept calling him Paco.

Pre Flashpoint he was named Paco Ramon. The new Vibe is Cisco Ramon. Probably so they won't have to pay Gerry Conway.
