Carnage huh? Didn't take the guy to be on a organized villain team
RR writing this too. Woo boy, My guess is that Havok will be leading most the X-men.
If Sinister is involved it'll be under Remender's pen which means he'll do something that throws back to the 90s.
I'm mistaken. He was in the last of Uncanny X-Men Vol 2.

I think i got fed up with how they were potraying the X-men, especially the P5.
Usually i just collect the issues but its like the Avengers won, and the writers were trying to prove a invalid point.
Now i have to go back.
sticking sabretooth all the way in the back where he can't see anybody and dressing red skull up in trolly cosplay doesn't equal an x-men event. get real.
Given the *level* of the recent X-events, I'm fine with Remender pulling a 180° on this one.
Totally.
Also, complaining about Sabretooth being in the background with the likes of Doom and Red Skull... Seriously ??
It's a miracle he made the cut at all.
Kudos to the X-management for propping him up all these years, it's starting to payoff somehow.

I'm looking forward to this newest X-Men event. Hopefully it will be a good 'un. Red Skullslaught team up has potential.

Obviously the clone of the Red Skull didn't pass on it's memories to this Red Skull on how the last team up with Dr. Doom went in Acts of Vengeance.
I'm not saying this is all doom and gloom and destined to fail, just that the lineup seems odd to me.
Green Goblin is a great villain, but his placement on this team doesn’t make a lot of sense.
Sabertooth is only good when he's intelligent and menacing ie not a lackey or minion, therefore probably terrible in this event.
Loki currently is less of an outright villain right about now and again comes across as weird in this.
Red Onslaught is a shitty idea, Xavier’s Brain grafted on to a cloned Red Skull, made shittier by resurrecting Onslaught, who was terrible.
Doom is an awesome villain but seems out of place with the rest and its questionable why he would willingly team up with Red Skull.
Carnage flat out sucks.
Its not that the line-up of enemies is bad, other than Carnage, he sucks. Its just that its not really an organic mix. The line up does cover many of the corners of the Marvel universe but that doesn’t make it a good idea. Hero’s of pretty much any background are going to be hero’s regardless of who’s attacking. If the X-Men happen across a Hydra attack, their going to help out, same with the Avengers, the FF or Spiderman. Therefore you don’t need to represent every corner of the MU to involve them.
There is also a question of status among the villains that’s odd, Green Goblin arguably the #1 Spiderman enemy, Dr. Doom and Red Skull are 2 of the biggest villains in the MU and then Sabertooth? and Carnage?
