So, according to this (and take it for what it's worth), DOFP changed the timeline, which may even effect character origin stories and ages. So, there is still a chance for Rogue. A slim chance, but a chance.

Sad to hear about Rogue. I was hoping this reboot would give us a new proper sassy Rogue.
Still not feeling Tatum as Gambit. He seems like a really nice guy and all, but there's just something missing. He just doesn't exude that thing...that IT...that makes the Cajun so magnetic.
(In all fairness to Tatum though, most of us said the same thing when we heard an Aussie musical star was cast as Wolvie.)
