Haha, the wedding issue was fantastic And you are absolutely correct, I was expecting a proposal at very least after that (ugh, I don't count that depressing "What If" variant). It's funny, they say sex sells in so many industries, and Marvel has become a lot more open with their 'sex shock factor' in the last decade...yet they completely missed out on the golden goose with Rogue and Gambit.*shakes head in disbelief*

Who knows, maybe one day the writers will remember that it's okay for a woman to be vulnerable and turned on and that she doesn't have to be a heroic robot all the time, and that it's okay for a guy to want her passionately without being demeaning. Thus far, I'm sad that the artists haven't been able to give the fans a truly jaw dropping scene between them, but as long as there is talent out there like Kris Anka and Clay Mann (who are willing to push that envelope and go to bat with the writers) we might have a chance to finally see something amazing.

And maybe I'll grow wings and fly, lol. Hope springs eternal!

Man, I really, really really, really, really, REALLY hope that PAD writes a funny blurb about their relationship in ANXF at some point. He seems like a stand up dude and he's been pretty decent at portraying relationships before, so I'ma keep my fingers crossed!

I dunno- it'd take some serious restraint (pun intended) to pull that off without turning a story/art into XXX stuff. Class, people, class! Lol. I remember seeing a fanart of them tied up and facing each other a long time ago. The artist said it was supposed to symbolize all the things that hold them back from being together, but of course I can't find the dang thing now :/
