The one she wears currently, that looks like a modified version of her Pre New52 outfit is made out of Kryptonian material.
The one she originally used in the New52 was just basic Earth material.

which is why the old fugly one would get shredded every issue. It came to the point where it felt like I was reading Empowered without the comedy!
the new one is classic as hell and at this point has become the iconic PG look. Which is why I hope it sticks around for a long time
I REALLY miss the Amanda Conner Power Girl. It was fun and cheesecake-y without being shamelessly exploititive. She just has a wonderful art style that gave PG an athletic, powerful look.
They should cancel World's Finest and just give PG a solo book again.
well guys according to levitz, wf writer, PG and Huntress will no longer be the main characters of WF as they head into the earth 2 weekly. my bet is that when the series is over and earth 2 characters are moved to earth 1, we'll see a new PG solo
Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.

Yeah, I'd love Manapul or Dodson. Or Conner was always great.
I know some people don't love his cheesecakey style, but Ed Benes can draw a pretty darn good Karen. Why he's even recently learned how to not draw the exact same face on every female character! And let's face it, on a Powergirl book? A little cheesecake is HARDLY a bad thing.
