Yeah, just heard on the way home that Burt had passed. One of Hollywood’s last old school legends.

He's the kind of actor that somehow always seemed immortal, always young. RIP Burt.

Longtime comics fan and historian Hames Ware died yesterday. He and the late Jerry Bails started indexing Golden Age comics in the 1960s; their efforts evolved into the Who's Who of American Comic Books (http://bailsprojects.com/whoswho.aspx).

Ehhh... I thought he'd looked near death for over 10 years, tbh.

I wonder if he ever paid Loni back.

    Oh well... RIP.

Enjoyed Burt's work. Especially when he played "Quint Asper" for 3 seasons on GUNSMOKE.

Just got an alert that Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen passed away at 65 from non-Hodgkin lymphoma.

I saw his on air obituary that Brian Williams did on his MSNBC show. I forgot just how much he did for the town of Seattle and all the money he gave away or invested in good works. Say what you will about them, he and Bill Gates were truly self made billionaires unlike that phony claim Trump makes about having very little help from his father.

Thank you, Sir Terry, for blessing us with wit and wisdom and headology, and may we have the common sense to use it.

Besides, wasn't the song "When a Man Loves a Woman"?

Maybe we're talking about a fake Percy Sledge, pretending to be the real deal in past-their-prime seaside resorts?
