Richard Anderson was a damn good actor. He wasn't flashy, but he always got the job done.

What a great band with sophisticated intelligent songs. Have seen them several times over the last few years. They are great in concert. Certainly a loss to music.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!
Don Williams, Country's 'Gentle Giant,' Dead at 78 "I Believe In You" is my all time favorite Don Williams song.
He was a great one. Think the first song I can recall hearing of his was his cover of The Ties That Bind back in '74, but the one that really made me a committed fan of The Gentle Giant was You're My Best Friend a year later. Even saw him in W.W. and the Dixie Dance Kings around the same time at our local drive-in with my family.
Favorite song? Good Ole Boys Like Me might fit that bill.

The first time I ever saw the great Harry Dean Stanton was in Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, but, inexplicably, I don't believe I actually knew his name until the mid-'80s. Haven't forgotten his name since then, though.
