2016 continues to fuck over the music world:

Emerson, Lake and Palmer founder Greg Lake dies at 69

And this was after Keith Emerson died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound back in March.

I'm guessing this is another band we wont see reunited, given that the short lived version with Powell is now entirely gone.
Also strange how the deaths followed the acronyms of the band.
Yesterday, I just learned my friend and co-worker died from cancer too.
Truly a horrible year.

John Glenn, former astronaut and U.S. Senator, has died at 95

The day after the Pearl Harbor attack he quit college and enlisted in the USMC. Years later the day after the 75th anniversary of the Pearl Harbor attack we lose him.

I'm sure he'll get a stamp, but he should be considered for a monetary note or coin.
