Very sad. He used to live here in New Orleans until post-Katrina woes drove him out. Thanks for all the magic, Harry.

Just heard about it. Back when I was a kid and lived to watch wrestling on TV every week, Bruno was my hero growing up. How sad.

Rest in peace, Barbara Bush. She was a classy first lady although her husband wasn't a great president, just an average president on par with Millard Fillmore, John Tyler, Franklin Pierce or Buchanan . Her successor, Hillary Clinton could barely compete with Mrs. Bush.

Sorry for the belated response but I was off the internet access for a while. I saw the news on the TV.

I won speak ill of B. Bush (though I could).
But Hillary Clinton was a dynamic First Lady, a Senator, a Sec. of State and won the vote for President.
Sorry, Barbara Bush was at the same level as her husband.

Swedish DJ Avicii, only 28 years old, was found dead in a hotel room.

No cause of death given, but he has had health scares in the past, some of them caused by excessive alcohol consumption.

I am sure the Secret Service agents who body guarded the First Lady Clinton would agree with you.

Ditto. Little man with a big heart - and personality. Stole the show in the Austin Powers films, all without saying a word. Thanks for the fun, Verne. RIP.

    Margot Kidder (1948 - 2018)
There are many ways to kill. One can stab a knife in your guts; take away your bread; deprive you of the cure for your illness; put you in a miserable housing; torture you to death with work; take you to war; etc.
Only a few of these are prohibited in our country.
    - Berthold Brecht
