horrible news. I remember the recent news about writing his memoirs. Blessings to the family. I hope his estate issues are settled without any of the usual craziness that happens.

sidebar: I'm selfishly angry that here's someone else that I'll never get to see perform live in person. I always wanted Mike and Prince's collaboration to be on Earth and not in Heaven.

    Rest in Power, Mr. Nelson.

There's a great video making the rounds, right now, of Prince at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame's tribute to George Harrison. It starts out with Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne doing their thing and it's fine, but then Prince comes in with the guitar solo and it's just . . . I can't even describe it.

Go here, and skip to about the 3:30 mark.

Prince was a class act and crazy talented at all things musical he could touch.

    RIP.

    Huge bummer. Just huge.

Like Bowie, just sort of unbelievable.

Let's not forget Prince's comic book connection since he provided several songs for the 1989 Batman film. He will be missed.

Damn. I don't use the word "legend" lightly, but if ever anyone merited it, it was Prince.

    A huge loss.

Sometimes it snows in April . . .

As far as I'm concerned, when it comes to superhero songs, there is the great Superman piece by John Williams and Batdance!

    My brother.

At that time those who fear Jehovah spoke with one another, each one with his companion, and Jehovah kept paying attention and listening. And a book of remembrance was written before him for those fearing Jehovah and for those meditating on his name. (Malachi 3:16)
