Which posts are you referring to? The ones about Eddie Van Halen are still in this thread. Just go back one page.

I believe those posts were moved into this thread from the sister thread in the "TV"/"Film" sub-forum. Seems like the missing posts may have been deleted in that thread.

Thanks. I forgot that there might be a similar thread there.

Johnny Nash has died. From Wikipedia: "John Lester Nash Jr. (August 19, 1940 – October 6, 2020) was an American singer-songwriter, best known in the United States for his 1972 hit "I Can See Clearly Now". Primarily a reggae and pop singer, he was one of the first non-Jamaican artists to record reggae music in Kingston."

Let's not forget one of the greatest theme songs for an animated show ever (sung by Johnny - the cartoon itself was rather feeble, IMO).

Got an alert that Sean Connery, the first James Bond passed away at 90.

The first time I ever saw him was when I got my OO7 wallet for my eighth birthday in 1973. Roger Moore was the first Bond I can recall, so it was surprising to see photos of this Connery guy in the photo section of the billfold. It was a few years later before he became my favorite of all of them.

    RIP

Then did you get to see him the next year, in Zardoz? If you didn't, here's what you missed.

You gotta love an actor who would be willing to play a role like that. RIP

I believe the only Sean Connery movies I saw during the '70s were his James Bond films and maybe Robin and Marian on TV. It wasn't until the '80s that I started seeing his movies at the theater.

The first time I can remember seeing him on screen was when I went to the local theater and saw this Disney movie, then on its initial release:

    But then, I'm old.
