    Damn.

I was aware of his name because he was the stepson of E.B. White.

RIP to Ray Liotta, at 67. He died in his sleep filming a movie.

I'm shocked to hear this terrible news! Loved him in Field of Dreams.

Except that he was a good actor, I had nothing to say about him. A journalist said about him probably the nicest thing that could said about an actor:

Well, after talking with him on the phone, I can say this: he was, and probably always was, totally himself.
Interviewing Ray Liotta was a unique experience - he was an actor without pretence

I saw that. Great drummer from a great band. He also was the drummer for Lennon on Imagine and Instant Karma.
There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

Shelby Scott, who had a decades long career as a news anchor and reporter for WBZ in Boston before going on to become the president of AFTRA, has passed away.

Scott was kind of locally famous for her work during winter weather reports because viewers would invariably wonder "Where's Shelby Scott?" because that always seemed to be where the weather was the worst.
