While I do get that he probably was not for everyone, Mojo Nixon passed recently.

A good man died. Robert Badinter was a French lawyer, politician and author who enacted the abolition of the death penalty in France in 1981, while serving as Minister of Justice under François Mitterrand.

If Mojo had recorded just Elvis is Everywhere and nothing more, he would still be deemed great in my eyes.

A darn shame. I liked The Spinners.

And they never had a hard time replacing acts who went solo!
When the great CG Cameron left, they got the incredible Philippé Wynne, who in turn was replaced by John Edwards, who already had been a hit maker in his own right.
    RIP Henry.

Here is a song where he shares lead with Dionne Warwick.

Roni Stoneman, a great female banjo player and a regular on Hee Haw, has died at 85.

Probably her most memorable character on Hee Haw was Ida Lee Nagger, miserable wife to husband Laverne. She usually stood at an ironing board while the two exchanged barbs and insults.

Very talented banjo player and so funny.

Yeah, I remember her. I agree with you regarding her banjo pickin' and being funny, too. She was also quite attractive out of character, FWIW.

RIP to comedian Richard Lewis at 73. He had Parkinsons, but I don't know how he died.
