Very sad to hear about Mary Tyler Moore passing. She just seemed like one classy and talented lady
It's so bizarre to hear about someone dying in her eighties when you can remember her so young, beautiful, and in her prime. Getting old. Anyway, she was a great, no doubt.

Does anyone know what MTM died of? I just heard of her passing, but no mention why she was in a hospital ICU for the past week. She was only 80.
Not a clue. Last I heard she was well and fine. Something must have happened in the last week. Maybe a case similar to Carrie Fishers?
People born in MTM's time, especially females who tend to live longer, have about 80 years life expectancy.
With all the modern standards today, people average lifespans are considered to be even higher.
But, if you have someone you love, even 80 does not seem that long when they hit that mark and pass on. And many 80 year olds don't feel their age and don't want to die. Believe me when I say I know what I am talking about here.
MTM had been suffering from Diabetes for years. It affected her eye sight and her legs.
If you look at her appearances on Hot in Cleveland, she was usually either seated the entire time or walking on somebody's arm.
Mike Connors of MANNIX has died from Leukemia at the age of 91.
My Dad liked his detective show Mannix. Of course with one TV in the house in those days we all watched it. I kind of liked Mike Connors work in some early Roger Corman films like the Day the World Ended, crazy sci fi stuff on a low budget. He was the heavy in that one. He was in a lot of little pictures but he found success in TV.
