I think I recall reading some too but she was at some point dropped from the Chicago papers. Not too many papers employ this kind of columnist anymore. I think she was probably the most respected as opposed to a Perez Hilton or other internet based stuff.

Definitely, IM. She was never vicious, even with people she disagreed with.

Circa 1987. I remember Liz herself being in the papers a lot during that time, esp. later on after she sided with Ivana when it was discovered the Donald was seeing Marla Maples.

Sad to hear. I knew a few people who'd studied acting with him at the HB Studio in NYC over the years; they said not only was he a great actor but also, an equally great teacher and person. RIP.
