Definitely, IM. She was never vicious, even with people she disagreed with.

Circa 1987. I remember Liz herself being in the papers a lot during that time, esp. later on after she sided with Ivana when it was discovered the Donald was seeing Marla Maples.

    She will be missed.

So many people followed Liz in the paper for a long time and she will definitely be missed!

Hey, Shalla Bal, good point with the Donald--I had forgotten!

Hey Shalla, so good to see you here! It has been way too long. I Hope you are back!

Just heard about Malcolm Young, died after a battle with dementia, and he was only 64. What a shame.

    RIP Earle Hyman.
A celebrated Shakespearean stage actor, he provided the voice of Panthro in ThunderCats, also played Cliff's father on the Cosby Show. He was also a cousin of the tragically late soul diva Phyllis Hyman.

He and his band mates were a big part of my HS years.

    Hi Phoenixx9, how're you doing?
I mostly hang out at the Cover Contest, but I do check out various threads here and there. Glad you liked the blast from the past regarding Liz Smith .

Sad to hear. I knew a few people who'd studied acting with him at the HB Studio in NYC over the years; they said not only was he a great actor but also, an equally great teacher and person. RIP.

The love of his life was a man, from what I hear. It's interesting how many non-heterosexual actors were on our screens in our childhoods without us realizing.

David Cassidy could soon be gone as he's been moved to the ICU with organ failure...
