Yes. I meant to add this when I heard, got distracted, and forgot. Thanks MajorHoy for posting Carol Channing. I loved her and thought she was extremely talented.

Nooo! Now both are gone in that pic. My dad passed away when I was 13. We used to watch wresting together in the 80's. It didn't even cross his mind that I was a girl. He was such a giant toughy but loved soap opera's too, lol. I guess that's why "boy/girl" things didn't matter to him. Now things that reminded me of him are disappearing. *sniff*

According to Debbie Allen, soul singer extraordinaire and songwriter James Ingram has passed away. James is best remembered for his many duets, and his vocals on some of Quincy Jones's award winning albums.

James would have turned 67 next month.

Oh no! I did not hear about his passing! What a great voice he had. And only 66.

That is a shame. Sixty-six still feels way too young.

Notice that CBR has a piece on Matt Rose passing. Man, that's a good sized chunk of film history gone.

Mr. Ingram also co-wrote Michael Jackson's hit song "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)" with Quincy Jones.

oh wow.....Dick Miller was a regular with Roger Corman movies. His one starring role was in Corman's black comedy/horror film "Bucket of Blood".

RIP "Walter Paisley". A lot of his cameo appearances, they simply used that name of his character from Bucket of Blood. He also had a part in the original "Little Shop of Horrors"

I hope he's included in the segment of the Oscars where they pay tribute to stars, directors, etc who passed away.

Man, I was just watching Dick Miller in The Terror only yesterday (not the usual role he played, BTW). Wonderful actor who was much better than many of his films. The first time I saw him had to have been X: The Man with the X-Ray Eyes circa 1974.

    RIP

As long as TCM does it at the end of the year in their annual necrology (which I'm 99.99% sure they will), I will be happy.
