    Joan Marie Laurer who wrestled for WWE as Chyna has passed away age 45.

    She had a history of drug use and mental health issues. May she find the peace now that she never did in life

    Man, that's a big name to go. Seems like yesterday when I first heard Little Red Corvette back in high school. God knows how many quarters I spent on Let's Go Crazy in the college game room. One of the greatest entertainers of my lifetime - or any lifetime.

    I'd read a few days ago that he was hospitalized for a bad case of the flu, his private plane had to make an emergency landing because he was doing so badly. Had hoped that they'd make him all better at the hospital.

    PURPLE RAIN was practically the soundtrack of my 7th Grade year. I was fascinated by how Prince was able to look down a groove *without* using bass.

    He had guitar skills on par with the likes of Hendrix, and yet, had so many additional musical talents that he didn't even need to rely on that for his fame and success.

    Prince was like what you got if you combined Jimi Hendrix, Michael Jackson, David Bowie, and Paul McCartney and distilled their talents into one composite figure.
