This guy already spent four years on Atlantis, fighting aliens and being badass. He's perfect for the role.

As far as I'm concerned, the one in the article and the one above are equally as real and valid as the other.

I've always been excited about this BEAST of a man, ROAAAAARRING into the role, and hope he does well, speaks a fair bit, compared to GOT, and features in many a film, and all.

Strange thought process, but if it puts butts in seats, then so be it...I guess.

    Not strange, at all.

Whatever Aquaman you like sure, but I'd say there's plenty room for both.

Please go read Peter David's 90s Aquaman
    DC Extended Universe Thread (DCEU)

That's how it starts. The fever. The rage. The feeling of powerlessness. That turns good men....Cruel - Alfred.

This may be the only thing that I do that matters - Bruce.

Stay down, if I wanted it, you would be dead already - Clark.

He took the role without reading the script, that doesn't mean they didn't have one written.

They do that with basically every superhero movie.

Yeah, to be sure, already finished filming, so, doubt that was done without a script.

I thought it meant his part in the script wasn't written, but he'd have one, all the same, but, sure, good on him for taking a chance.

Not small fish, to be sure.

I agree with this, now that I've had time to think about it. Aquaman has always been the easiest JLA member to make fun of. I think the producers are saying "We DARE you to make fun of this guy!" I do, however, find it hard to imagine a man in armor operating under water.
