The end result will be the same. The X-Boards had this happen already once when certain mods stepped down and others took over and start arbitrarily enforcing "rules" and believe me the outrage was palpable. But in the end, the mods won by banning a lot of the old posters. So, why waste your breath? It won't change anything. At least we can hope for a system free of favoritism.

And I hope that one day I'll get a unicorn.

Of course. The forum that used to be filled to the brim with unapologetically nasty posts from all sides of every argument and where "jokes" about being raped by other posters had tacit mod approval. That one gets to have discussion threads unimpeded. And I can just imagine the types of mature, rational, polite discussions being had in those threads.
