This book makes me wonder though. How can the Gentry actually be defeated? They've already infected the real world and we supply the basis for the stories where they are fought. So...basically we've all been conscripted into a never ending idea war. Oh. My. God. Morrison you son of a #$$$%!

Sure, maybe comics are vampires, slowly siphoning away our time and creative energy. OR! Perhaps comics are the universal medicine, and we're donating our energy to help get the message to people the world over who might need it a little more than we do!

Since the last issue is delayed, I'm considering reading 7 Soldiers, Final Crisis, Action comics and then the Multiversity issues leading up to The Multiversity #2.

I wonder if I'll have any endorphins left after that, and if my mind will survive melting.

But it's quite a good reading order right?

I just did it this last month myself. Brain considerably exploded (luckily it exploded onto the keyboard into notes). It's always a solid idea, but I HIGHLY recommend it now that you can use the Multiverse Map. You should add JLA if you can. JLA, JLA: Earth 2, and JLA: Classified. My mind went into meltdown when it occurred to me how easy it is to assign arcs in JLA to specific 5-Dimensional God-Spheres. Each deals with a specific 5-D threat, and then Mageddon of course, is a threat from BEYOND FIVE DIMENSIONS.

Keep that map handy!
