When the New Mutants movie was first getting started and they announced Cecilia Reyes, I remember thinking that if they weren't going to have Prof. X in the movie, why not have Stevie Hunter as their mentor. (This was before the sort of horror sanitarium plot was revealed.) I also thought Issa Rae would've been perfect for the role!

I'd rather she be left alone by the X-World and show up elsewhere. Other than owning a dance studio maybe she's a choreographer for broadway shows, TV specials, movies, etc.
