Last week, Pat Loika interviewed Robbi Rodriguez for his podcast.

It was pretty interesting.

Some details...
- Latour and Rodriguez thought Edge of Spider-Verse would be a one-off, and were thinking about a Moon Knight arc when Marvel suggested there'd more Spider-Gwen. First, they were told it would be another one-shot. Then, they were told it would be a mini-series. And then it became a monthly.
- They approach the book like a creator-owned title, given the relative freedom. There have not been any edicts about Secret Wars.
- Latour has a 30 issue plan.
- Following some carbon monoxide posioning last year, Rodriguez suffers from hand tremors. As a result, he does very few sketches. And since Spider-Gwen art is made digitally, it means that there's very little original art with the character (at least by him.)

In the latter half, Loika and Rodriguez talk about wrestling, so when that starts many of you would probably want to skip past that until about five minutes from the end. Anyone who wants to know what the artist of Spider-Gwen thinks of Vince McMahon is in luck.

Loika had interviewed Rodriguez two years earlier, so he was pretty excited that the guy had had such a major hit.
