Moon Knight Epic collection. Crazy, weird stuff. These older comics were plotted like a freight train, packed full and non-stop. It seems like the writers were really not doing things with any long term plans or outlines, just writing by the seat of their pants. This is not classic material (so far- I'm only half way through) but it is pretty damn fun.

    The Incredible Hulk #211
Well written with a great battle between Hulk and Mongu. Great cover art as well.

That does look pretty cool. I need to pick up some more Sal Buscema era Hulks.

Check out the cover on #216, its even better. Just read that one as well. The story takes place on a Shield Heli-Carrier. Not as good as #211 but still worth reading.
Picked up those two issues yesterday. My LCS has a buy one get one free sale on all Hulk titles this month.

I think Ernie Chan is a really underrated artist.

I'm reading Justice League of America Archives vol. 10, which collects Justice League of America vol. 1 #81-92. I love the Denny O'Neil stuff. The Mike Friedrich stuff is OK. Dick Dillon is the definitive JLA artist for me.

Just picked up Amazing Spider-Man #10. I love the old Spideys and the dated dialogue.

Also reading through Preacher. Picked up Volumes one and two on the cheap at Half Price books. Through the first six issues. Ennis can be a bit too much at times, but I'm liking it a lot so far.

    This is not the case.

I finally got another copy of the first Martian Manhunter Showcase, so the last classic I read is "The Manhunter From Mars!" from Batman #78.

Fantastic Four #5 (first appearance of Doctor Doom)

I loved the adventure feel when the FF were transported back into the days of swashbuckling pirates. It was also neat seeing the genius supervillain, Dr Doom, in his earliest appearance.

I;m just not sure of the dates commonly used for the word 'classic' in comics.
