Default Are the books based on the Arkham games any good?

    Hi,

I've been playing the Arkham games lately and I've really been enjoying this version of the Batman mythos and I know that they've made different mini-series set before and during the various games and I was wondering if they are worth checking out and if so is there a particular order reading them?

Yes. I think they are. City comes before Unhinged. And they both take place before the Arkham City game.

The Arkham City: Endgame one-shot (not the current story going on in Batman) is a great story. I have the Arkham City prequel by Dini, but it wasn't earth shattering or anything.

I love that story - it came out physically as an oversized issue. Def one of my favorite Joker stories ever, straight up, and the art is insane

There are at least a couple threads here on this subject and on the different runs that are worth checking out if you are interested.

The Arkham Asylum stuff was decent, but not imperative.

The Arkham City stuff (Unhinged) was wonderful and imaginative and eventually surpassed the boundaries of the game's storyline.

Arkham Knight is off to a good start.
