I rolled my eyes when they announced a Sinestro series. Then I saw it was Cullen Bunn writing it. The Sixth Gun, Fearless Defenders, Magneto... Yeah, I like his stuff.

Wait, from the same guy who is writing Magneto(2014)? I was originally gonna pass this series up, but now I'm gonna go ahead and get the first issue.

Yeah, same guy. He seems to have a thing for villains trying to redeem themselves. Magneto has been about perfect so far

Wait a minute. The Sinestro Corps had a "code?" As in "a code of behavior and moral standards?"

Then how does Sinestro explain what the Sinestro Corp did when he first formed them? What they did to Bleez?

It just seems like DC's trying to retcon in the idea that Sinestro held the Corps to a certain moral standard, with basically nothing to support that.

I believe his code apply only to his own species... He doesn't care if the Sinestros decimate alien races so long as it isn't Kouragar

This was a really good issue. If the first issue didn't sell you on the title, this one surely will. It was nice to see some old faces as well as some new.

My only complaint is it wasn't long enough. I wanted to read more of it.

Still on the fence at the minute. So far I'm really only interested in Sinestro's relationship with Soranik. Will probably give it another issue or 2.
