What female (or male) character would you like to see Kaine date/marry/be in love next?

Kaine/MJ still sounds like an alternate universe idea to me. Something along the lines of What if Kaine was the original Peter Parker, and Peter was the clone? Believe me, if they have made stories like the What If? Where Peter Parker made himself into Dock Ock to stop Spider-Man, it's not too wacky to try.

I agree about Miles/Gwen though, can't tell for sure if it will be genuine romance or just teaming up against something in the multiverse. Although it would be interesting if some kind of event undid the multiverse (They killed MC2 Peter Parker #$&^@$!).

Or at least undid the deaths in Spider-Verse, because yeah, I'm upset MC2 Peter wasn't mysteriously bailed out at the last second by MC2 Kaine, Black Tarantula, Arana, and Darkdevil and their combined forces made Daemos run for his life.

Well, if Marvel ever does some wierd equivalent of Flashpoint Paradox where Peter Parker, Ben Reilly, or Kaine create some paradox that essentially undoes the damage, I would be all in with that.

Kaine/X-23 could be an interesting pairing (although Jubilee is my preferred LI for X-23). They even have some things in-common.

If this is thread necromancy, feel free to shut it down, but you should check out The Clone Conspiracy #2 and Amazing Spider-Man (Volume 4) #21. Kaine's back, he and Spider-Gwen are working together, and they do seem to share some moments that could be construed as the beginning of an emotional bond between them. . . .

spider-gwen and peter parker won't happen. She is closer to miles experience and age, very similar problems. I don't see the fling lasting but I think spider-gwen could've a thing with her own Mary Jane

And possibly creates other, even worse damage in the long run, like in Flashpoint and its adaptations (Flashpoint Paradox and the Season 3 premiere of The Flash). Probably better not take that chance.

Kaine/Psylocke would be an interesting pairing. After the situations with Archangel and Fantomex in Uncanny X-Force and now Cullen Bunn's Uncanny X-Men, Kaine might be similar enough for the danger factor that Psylocke tends to be drawn to, but more stable than Archangel and with a more functional moral compass than Fantomex usually has.

Kaine was created when Peter Parker was roughly 20 years old. As Peter is now in his late twenties, his officially stated age being 28 back in 2014, and then with the time-skip between Secret Wars and All-New, All-Different Marvel possibly bringing him (closer) to 29, Kaine would be chronologically 8-9 years old, but with the physical appearance and mental development of someone the same age as Peter. Even so, Laura "X-23" Kinney/Wolverine is probably at least 18 years old by now, so it might be somewhat less sketchy to pair her with Kaine, and they do have some things in common --- being created as living weapons, being abused and dehumanized by their creators, being forced to kill (Laura by trigger scent and conditioning, Kaine by his anger at his lot in life and desperation to survive), having regrets and doubts over their past misdeeds and whether or not they can be more than killers and monsters, having complicated familial relationships with the heroes they were cloned from and their fellow clones, and having Chris Yost be a major architect of their character development.

Hmm, I was actually referring to Spider-Gwen with Kaine, since this thread is about possible love interests for Kaine, not Spider-Gwen with Peter, though I do agree that Spider-Gwen with her reality's Mary Jane would be fun to see.
