    G. Willow Wilson answered questions in today's X-POSITION and there's lots of Jubilee- and Monet-related content for GenX fans to check out. Two things that seem relevant to this topic in particular, though, are...

    Starleafgirl has a question about your possible future with the X-Men, if you -- or the book -- were sticking around beyond "Secret Wars"...

    I've liked your stay on "X-Men" and wish it could be longer. If you could stick around to write another "X-Men" tale, what would it be?

    I would write a Jubilee story in which she goes on a madcap quest to cure herself of vampirism. I might do that anyway.
    Maybe it's something she could write for during or after Secret Wars? ;D

    Although I wonder how many versions of characters are going to be running around after Secret Wars, lol.

    We've already got the Runaways Jubilee and X-Men '92 Jubilee... will there be room for our Earth-616 reformed mallrat, too??

    Also interested in your future plans, The Seventh Light wants to know what's going on in the Battleworld domain of Arcadia during "Secret Wars."

    With the tremendous light you've shed on the crass and brassy Monet St. Croix, will she be one of the many female characters you'll be covering in Arcadia with "A-Force"?

    Arcadia is going to be off the hook. I have to credit my stellar co-writer, Marguerite Bennett, with the lion's share of the work on the Arcadia storyline -- she's doing a lot of innovative stuff with characters from very different parts of the Marvel U. You may indeed see Monet in the mix, though I will not say how...
    That would be an exciting possibility, eh?? Well, for me, at least... as I'm the only one who's voted for the idea of a Generation X A-Force so far, haha.

    Still, Monet is one of those few x-characters who are aristocratically positioned for a leadership role in politics (her father's an Ambassador) and she certainly acts like she's entitled to such a role, so we'll see. Maybe she could work alongside Medusa on the political aspects of Arcadia.

    Nice classic Gen X fan art for the first pic! Paige needs to husk into sand or stone or somethin', then the nudity won't be as obvious. ;D She could husk into acid in Age of Apocalypse and didn't she have an energy form in Earth-616? Wonder how she'd handle husking into sand... Give Dust a run for her money? ;D
