Thanks for linking to the first look at Ultimate End. Interesting to see who's going to be in it.

I just don't get why heroes are fighting heroes when they should be working together to, you know, save people and be heroic and stuff. ^_^;;

They are probably fighting because both worlds have dealt with incursions and they know the only way to stop them is to destroy one world or let both die, and odds are not to many people are enthusiastic about letting their planet get blown up to save another.

Haha, fair enough. If they're both fighting to save their own respective worlds, that's easier to understand.

It really depends where this takes place relative to the Secret Wars events and whether it's before or after the final incursion. If they're on Battleworld already it's fair to say they're sharing space so there might be a different reason for conflict.

I agree. Considering that Manhattan and Ultimate Manhattan have been combined on Battleworld, and that they have Ultimate Reed and The Illuminati to protect them from the previous incursions, 1610 and 616 are probably going to be the last domains to arrive on Battleworld. Especially considering that The Wall/ The Shield has been there for 'years'. That's probably why they're fighting as well-each is the first domain that the other has encountered.

That cover is really awesome with highlighting the wealth of things we've had in the 616 Universe in recent years.

Some new info on the Carol Corps title and the Hala Field domain from co-writer Kelly Thompson! Seems like Hala Field is more idyllic than some other domains, though since they're next to the HYDRA Empire I wonder how long that'll last. It's interesting to hear again the concept of a lack of knowledge to Battleworld's situation, this was something mentioned by Abbett too in an interview on Korvac Saga.

And since we're on a Marvel Heroines streak also some nice action figure variants for Carol's Captain Marvel and Lady Thor, set to be for the #1's of Carol Corps and Thors. These all look really awesome.

Looks to be Lady Loki (distinctive horns), I can also see Skrull Elektra from Secret Invasion, the Death of Captain America, Cap vs Iron Man and Cyborg Thor from Civil War, Gladiator Hulk vs Sentry from World War Hulk, the beach battle from AVX...

The horns are just how Esad Ribic draws Loki's horns. While I realize this is Simone Bianchi, that is pretty distinctively Esad as far as the helmet design goes and I assume that this is based on Esad Ribic's designs for the main Secret Wars book, so... Once this is in color I bet you they will be bone, not gold, as well. It's just how Esad does Loki. I think the jaw is too square and the neck to thick for Lady Loki, I think this is Ultimate Loki, who has long hair. Also, Lady Loki's hair was never that straight.

I like the idea of many Dooms and Green Goblins, and, the idea Ben Grimm just turned into a Hulk strong body instead of a Rocky skinned monster.
