The Squadron Sinister (with more members than just the original four)

So much potential for the Serpent Society! But I also wouldn't mind seeing more / better use of the Bogatyri and Zodiac Cartel.

Dr. Demonicus and the Pacific Overlords interest me. I kind of missed them back in the day, and would like to see some sort of attempt to revitalize / reinvent them. The left coast doesn't get much play, and it'd be neat to see them filling the niche left behind by the Pride's behind-the-scenes domination of the local crime-scene.

For that matter, it would be neat to see some actual significant fallout from the Pride's years of dominance. Crooks using tech from the Stein's or alien Majesdanian gear or even some AU future (or past!) stuff handed out by the Yorkes (back when their time-travel tech was working reliably) could be a thing, or a cabal using sketchy magic gleaned from the Minoru's (former acolytes of theirs) to advance their own business / personal goals.

The Pride themselves might be dead, but they ran an *organization* that had perhaps hundreds of people in it, and they surely didn't all throw up their hands and go work at McDonalds when the bosses all disappeared...

That's not how criminal organizations work. A void at the top appears. *Someone* steps up. (Usually lots of 'someones,' and then there's an underworld war! And there's the plot of the story, gangs using glowy Majesdanian light-based tech fighting gangs using Minorun sorcery fighting gangs using cybernetic junk that Stein was tinkering with, each wanting to be the top dog of this vast territory.)

When I voted I hadn't considered the idea that villain teams could be voted for under the Other option. If I had I would have voted for:

    Mystique's Brotherhood/ Freedom Force
    Dark Riders
    Original Reavers
    Beatle's Sinister Syndicate
The Secret Empire version of the Masters of Evil

Interview gives some info on new warriors behind the scenes and that many at marvel didn't care for new warriors even when book was huge. He hated what cw did to the team also.

And of course he talks about the infamous alf cover with the seal!

Probably my favorite wrier in the 90's. Loved his work, and always wished he'd had more than a fill-in issues run on the Avengers (always my favorite Marvel book). His New Warriors is still excelent and one of my favorite Marvel books. Seems like a really nice and grounded guy, also.

    Peace

    Thunderbolts
New Mutants (They don't have X-Men in the title)
    Power Pack
    Defenders
I liked all four among your choices......including the Loners.
