They were a short lived team that spun out of The Runaways. Would have loved them to continue. It's never been explained how Penance/Hollow was living as a separate entity to M.

The understanding I had in the old Gen-X book is that Hollow/Yvette just wasn't the same person to start with. the original idea was seemingly that Marius forcibly merged Monet with a woman he found in Yugoslavia.

Classic Excalibur was also a favorite team book of mine. Particularly when Alan Davis was on the title. Another book where 3 mutants go form a team with non mutants, this time as Britain's premier superhero group. I honestly, would like to see it back with a classic line up.

It's been mentioned that Alan Davis is the team's most valuable member, since the title wasn't quite as well received without him...

I picked the Thunderbolts. The original team to be clear with some variations of that.

Of the many combos, Citizen V/Helmut & Hawkeye/Clint Barton were the only ones that mattered (IMHO):

I'm assuming series like Young Avengers, Avengers Academy, and New X-Men are off limits since while spin-off variants they have "Avengers" and "X-Men" in the titles. YA would be number one for me otherwise. In that case

Agreed. Once Richard Rider went back to the OG costume, the series became an All-Time Favorite

Defenders would be number 1, but the team I voted for was the New Defenders lineup. The team that was Angel, Beast, Valkyrie, Gargoyle, Moondragon, Andromeda, Iceman and a few others.

I also voted for Thunderbolts. The two lineups that I voted for would be the original team, as well as the second team that M.A.C.H 2 became leader of. I ta also included Songbird, Joystick, Speed Demon, Blizzard, and a few other members that I can't think of off the top of my head. When I think of The Thunderbolts those are the two teams that I think of.
