    Default Scarecrow, Joker, fear Toxin

    Hi all,

I could really use your help. I've been scouring google trying to find this one instance to reference in the introduction to my paper about justice and injustice and human desire and all that. My professor referenced a scene in a Batman comic (which he believes to be part of the Knightfall series) where scarecrow sprays the Joker with what I assume to be his fear toxin (or some kind of toxin that makes people behave immorally, or enact their deepest desires), but it doesn't work because the Joker already lives exactly how he wants to live.

Does ANYONE know which comic this is?

Sorry if this is annoying but I really want to one, read it because it sounds interesting, but also use it for my introduction because it is SO relevant.

    Thank you,
    B

It's been a while since I've read it, but it sounds like Batman #494, which is part of Knightfall and features both Scarecrow and The Joker.

    Batgirl - ...BOP - Batman - 'Tec - Nightwing - Supergirl - Titans - Wonder Woman

^I think that issue just has the Scarecrow threatening to spray the Joker. The issue where he actually does and then discovers it don't work is this one:

<smacks lips> "Not bad, Crow. What other flavors ya got?"

    I love that scene.
    "Darkseid...always hated music..."

Every post I make, it should be assumed by the reader that the following statement is attached: "It's all subjective. What works for me doesn't necessarily work for you, and vice versa, and that's ok. You may have a different opinion on it, but this is mine. That's the wonderful thing about being a comics fan, it's all subjective."
