I don't know if you've heard about the Torres Benefit. Artist Wilfredo Torres (Jupiter’s Circle, Batman ’66, The Shadow, and Lobster Johnson) recently lost his wife to cancer, and in support of him and his family, comics artists have set up an art auction.

One of the artist involved is Duncan Fegredo, who has drawn a beautiful piece of young Hellboy in The Midnight Circus. He shared his process on Twitter...

Should've put the bigger mass of shadow in first, need to adjust the values accordingly...



Still time to cock it up...

Getting closer, reasonable sense of light and volume emerging. Hey, still not ballsed it up!

A stunning Hellboy by the dreamy light effect inkwash Master. Not ballsed up even a little.

I'm certain this will add to the heart-breakingly unfortunate yet gently aided cause!
