For one thing, outside of the wings there's nothing very Tranfromers-y here, and Angel/Archangel as a Horseman with metal wings is straight from the comics, having it here in an Apocalypse movie is only right. And secondly, we must never ever mention that Shredder ever again. Never I say!

As others have said, the producers and such have said that because of how the last movie ended they've played around with the ages and such of some characters that they wanted to use, so Warren is whatever age they want him to be...much like Jubilee, who is also in the movie after being in the first movie...
