It's never been told, but implied that he's just really good at fighting. I don't think he has the same abilities as Matt, he's just been fighting since his youth. Now that I think about it, nobody has ever really elaborated on Stick's background. I used to think I could never write a good DD story since Miller, Nocenti, Bendis, and Brubaker have "done it all" but I guess they haven't.

that last scene with Daredevil & Sergeant after Fisk got his ass kicked reminded me of Bruce & Jim Gordon a bit, the flashbacks throughout the whole season reminded me of Arrow but other than that I felt everything else was pretty creative I loved the show definitely 10/10 good mix of action with a good plot they didnt let the sub plots get too complex and takeover the overall story so thats always a plus. I feel like if this was in Sony hands the sub plots would have been all over the place & ruined the story *cough* (The Amazing Spiderman 2) *cough* lol
Starting the finale. This show has been one hell of a roller coaster ride.
Marvel Pull - Fantastic Four, The Immortal Hulk
DC Pull - The Green Lantern, Goddess Mode
Indie Pull - The Wrong Earth, High Heaven
Well done, Marvel. Well done.
I know it would never happen but I would actually prefer Marvel to do this with all of their properties. It really helps flesh the characters out, in particular the supporting cast.

I wonder if they did it bc they want Jessica Jones to take the role of press/investigator in the team. It's possible, albeit unlikely, that Jessica Jones could still have her connection with Urich, via flashbacks or AKA Jessica Jones having bits take place before Daredevil.
Anyone have any idea what the black skies is?
an inhuman?

It might be immature of me, but I got so frustrated that they did that! He was a perfect Ben Urich, and I wanted to see more of him. I didn't think he would get killed. I mean, he hadn't even figured out Daredevil's secret identity. I really liked the show, but I think my frustration over that might be keeping me from really loving it.
I mean I loved the way the momentum of the show was carrying through after episode 8, but I felt like I hit a brick wall all of a sudden.
Well, that guy wasn't really supposed to be the Owl (although he was a great character and Bob Gunton gave a great performance). But his son, also presumably named Leland Owlsley (Leland referred to him as "Lee) may well end up becoming the Owl, motivated by the fact that spoilers:end of spoilers
Fisk killed his father.
Ohhhhh, dat ending. vincent D'onofrio's Fisk makes The Governor from The Walking Dead look like a preschooler on a sugar high. I just realized I'm going to have to wait another year for Season 2, and now I feel sad. I hope the Jessica Jones show matches the quality for this one.
"A happy ending? So unlikely. We're not having a moment here.
Wrong city, wrong people, all huddling in fear.
No one escapes the slaughterhouse, and that's just where you're at.
(You could've asked Rebecca but then Adam stomped her flat.)
You think you're special cuz you're scrappy? You're deluded, time to go.
Lucy's living on the moon but you're another dead psycho."
