Perfection. Perfect balance of modern touches & yet very classic.

Things I love: Batman, Superman, AEW, old films, Lovecraft
Grant Morrison: “Adults...struggle desperately with fiction, demanding constantly that it conform to the rules of everyday life. Adults foolishly demand to know how Superman can possibly fly, or how Batman can possibly run a multibillion-dollar business empire during the day and fight crime at night, when the answer is obvious even to the smallest child: because it's not real.”
honestly. i loved the 90's armored look. it just made more sense for a guy who didnt have any healing powers. this makes sense too, its practical not just a halloween costume. not everything that can work in the comics can work on the screen and this is proof that with adjustments, we all can be happy.

Just give him a DD logo and he's set.
I prefer it to his comic outfit (never thought I'd say that about an adaptation), always felt his comic look needs a bit of an update. Dd needs more love.
Books I'm reading: Batman Eternal, Red Hood, Black Widow, Elektra, Loki Agent of Asgard, Green Arrow, Wonder Woman, Action Comics, Catwoman.........
I just wanted to give my thanks to comicbookresources for doing a great job at not spoiling the costume reveal for those of us who still want to be surprised... Good job, guys!
I don't hate it, but it's got that Hollywood sheen that is kinda too glossy for me. It could certainly be worse which luckily it isn't. :-)
This series is so damn good. I just finished Episode 5 last night and love the character moments even more than the action sequences. I've heard this series compared favorably to Martin Scorcese's work and have to say that's a good call. The use of light and shadow, the photography, the minimal score - it all works to create a palpable sense of tension broken only by some well-written jokes.
Currently Reading: A handful of series that will be canceled soon.
