Might be for a good reason. It also peaked my interest in this event when I had none. Still not sold on picking it up yet but I just might if the road it's taking keeps arousing my curiosity.
Sad but true on that scene in WS:WK...

I've always loved the assassination angle of the WS/Bucky so hopefully the reason will be good.

But is he really? I bet Nick is still alive and now I'm starting to wonder if this is actually Bucky.

The eyeball looks so silly slung at his waste and then cut to the Hamlet-like inset. But Bucky... Since outting him as the WS, he has a lot more enemies than he did when he was the WS. spoilers:
And something about him abandoning Moon Knight and Gamora is also very suspect.
end of spoilers Oh the questions.

Bucky is secretly working for Fury.

Link to that preview page from OS 4, now with dialog.

Such a fake out...and very much a spy thing.

    O-O!!!

    Rogerio, Where is that from?

I hope Deodato draws him out of the space suit because that is terrific. Doctor Strange and Werewolf by Night used to be my favorite characters Mike's drawn, but I agree with you. His Winter Soldier is wonderful.

    Thank you for posting.

(I really must scout artists blogs more often...)

and I just looked at this closer and see a star on his right shoulder. Can't remember seeing Buck with a star on that arm... it's cool.

Ah. Thank you. That it's from Wolverine: Origins explains why I've never seen it (not a fan of Way, Origins or his WS for that matter.)

Star on the right shoulder: That could be a shirt (being I've never seen the color version...) or a mistake.

Well, we're two days away from possibly learning the what and why behind Bucky's abrupt actions in Original Sin #3. Should be interesting.

Cap certainly would be interesting, but it's probably Fury.

Got a huge kick out of the vaguely familiar sounding solits for Grayson 3 in the new DC September solits. Of course I'm buying it.

And one of my favorite Nik Klein Winter Soldier pieces...

Nik also posted his favorite WS pages from his run here.

I really hope he gets to draw the character again some day.

    Just saw this.

I really hope they get back together in the comics and are paired up in future movies. Maybe adding the shared history.

    I'm anxious to read Grayson.
