I'm actually happy to hear a lot of what he had to say, first I'm really glad that they are not doing an origin story for Spiderman and with him being established already. I can't wait to see what they do with him.
It's interesting to hear that Infinity wars is actually two separate stories that merge into one story, might be interesting to see if Civil War will have effect with two different sides of the story.
"It's fun and it's cool, so that's all that matters. It's what comics are for, Duh."
Words to live by.
So will people finally shut the f*** up about Donald Glover?
Man, what a bad idea that was!
I wonder if in Civil War part of the story is the Avengers finding out Spiderman is out there. And more importantly will Tony Stark give him the Iron Spider suit!
They really shouldn't go with a black Peter Parker, if anything because it would be a slap in the face to a lot of Miles Morales fans who want that character to appear someday.
I would be happy with a British accent for Doctor Strange or otherwise, Cumberbatch is awesome either way.
An accent for Doctor Strange is a non-issue for me. I just want to see past Cumberbun and feel like I'm watching Stephen.

I personally think that Spider-Man will have nothing but a brief mention or cameo (if anything at all) in Civil War. This script was finished long before the deal with Sony was even news, is already filming, and is not likely to undergo extensive rewrites at this point to accommodate a Spider-Man storyline. They haven't even cast him yet. It would be nice, but probably isn't gonna happen.

Really like what I'm hearing from Feige about this. He's right on the money about Miles too. I love the character of Miles Morales and I think he brings something amazing to the Ultimate Universe; he's the character that got me reading Marvel month-to-month. But the legacy aspect of his character is really important, and I don't feel like you can really capture Miles as Spider-Man without Peter Parker being a part of that.
How great would it be to eventually see a Peter and Miles team-up on screen? I really hope we get there.
Making Peter black would be stupid. Keep him out of the race change crap. Let whites be whites, it's racist to change.
If Miles is on the table for some point in the future, a black Peter Parker would make him redundant.
Interesting to hear that the costume is already designed.
