R.I.P Mr. Trimpe
"In any time, there will always be a need for heroes." - the Time Trapper, Legion of Superheroes #61(1994)
"What can I say? I guess I outgrew maturity.." - Bob Chipman
Yes he was the essential Hulk artist. And a genuinely nice man.
So sad. Rest In Peace Herb.
Prayers and condolences for the family and friends.
So sorry to hear this news. I'd always wanted to meet him at a con.
Like many, my first exposure to his work was in the Hulk.
Condolences to his family.
Namor the Sub-Mariner, Marvel's oldest character, will have been published for 85 years in 2024. So where's my GOOD Namor anniversary ongoing, Marvel?
A beautiful artist in several styles. I still need to check out his Dinosaurs Attack! comic. This is probably the saddest motivation for me to do that, but motivation it is.
Patsy Walker on TV! Patsy Walker in new comics! Patsy Walker in your brain! And Jessica Jones is the new Nancy! (Oh, and read the Comics Cube.)
How sad. I loved Mr. Trimpe's work on Incredible Hulk, G.I. Joe, Shogun Warriors and Godzilla. He will be missed.
Avatar: Here's to the late, great Steve Dillon. Best. Punisher. Artist. EVER!
Very sad news.
Not so long ago i was reading Death Of Wolvrine 4,and i was happy to see that Mr.Trimpe had illustrated a variant cover for this series.
And now this news got me perplexed.
My condolences to his family.
