"The Fox" lands at Dark Circle with a brand new number one by Mark Waid and Dean Haspiel.

Sounds like a 4-star book to me. Looking forward to it.

I'm hoping for something really good! Even great but I've not forgotten the recent misfire by Mark Waid w/Doctor Spektor. Now I don't know how much if any interference Dynamite had over that via editorial but that character is still aching for a chance to shine and I felt Waid would do it. It didn't happen.

Really liked it. A nice set up for the new series that is definitely Waid and Haspiel hitting on all cylinders. Probably the best superhero book I read this week.

This was so not what I wanted out of this book. As I said in the Dark Circle thread, the art was really poor, the story was boring and a chore to read, and I wasn't feeling the character whatsoever. It's going to take a miracle in issue #2 to get me to move forward with the 3rd issue.

If The Fox manages to become this generation's Madman, I may pick it up after a few issues.
    I agree about the art.
Haspiel's really good, especially at action poses and layout.
But I think he needs a medium to heavy inker.
