Marvel Illuminati Appearances?

Hey, I was just wondering if any of you know any of the appearances of the illuminati BEFORE Hickman's run of Avengers (including storylines important to the overall story), as I know that they appear in many, many issues during his run. I know some appearances (There were several during Bendis' original New Avengers run, and one of the AvX tie-ins), but really don't have the time to dig them out.
